Mr. Joseph C. Mitra, Mr. D. Savid Henry, Mr. Anil O. Parmar and Mr. Nimrod H. Tisbi were government servants before the service of Sion Prayer Fellowship was started. But as they received CALL from God for his service they took VRS and first oa all they all joined in the promotional work of FMBP in GUJARAT.After lonf service of FMPB due to some circumstances,later in they joined honorarium promotional work of Gospel Partners Movements.It was a blessed time we spent in these services.
The blessed and ripple effect work of FMPB and GPM was going on while due to unavoidable circumanstances, we left GPM on 1-1-2001. It was a sad event for us. Now what to do? It’s a big question arise for us because we all have taken VRS to do his ministry. Due to this incident we were discouraged and in sorrows. At this time God lead us to go in his presence and to wait. So we decided to carry this matter to Almighty God. Firstly, Mr. Anilbhai Parmar and Mr. Nimrod Tisbi have arranged a prayer meeting on 23-2-2001 on Friday at Nimrodbahi’s house, Sonal Society, Mission Road, Nadiad. But as per the will of God and according to his arrangements Mrs. Nimrodbhai Tisbi, Mr. David Henry from Maninager and Josephkaka of Nadiad were present in this fellowship.
In this prayer meeting we were remain in prayer, sung songs and meditate the word of God from 1:00 to 4:00 in the afternoon. Everyone who were present in this fellowship had lead in prayer with tears and from the bottom of the heart. God has counsel through this fellowship. According to the word of God Hebrews 10:25 “Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another…”We decided to meet twice in a month for prayer. And this way the first prayer group was formed which was self-inspired according the will of God.
Mr. David Henry and Mr. Kanubhai Rana were with us from the beginning of this service. But due to their family responsibility and other responsibility of various ministries, they with their own will seperated from us, but even today they our prayer friends.
In this time, Mr. Augustine Christian, who was working in PTC College, Borsad and was with us in the beginning, retired from the service in 2005 and joined with us in full time service. Mr. Fredrick Carpenter who was working in Central Bank Of India, Maninagar, became victim of incurable disease but through prayers he was healed completely, he took VRS and joined us in full time ministry. We are thankful to God that five people are working in full time ministry.
According the promise, the vision and the authority of God and to spread the work in Gujarat and many people may aware of this ministry, we have given a name of “SION PRAYER FELLOWSHIP”.
We visit persons, families and try to know their problems, sickness and sorrows and encourage tham through prayers and words of God by reflecting the everlasting love of God and great hope through this ministry. We pray and give prayer requests and thank for everyone. We have arranged to establish prayer groups according the word of God. 1 Timothy 2:1 By the grace of
God, at present many prayer groups are existing in Maninagar, Nadiad, Anand, Karamsad, Borsad, Brukhill, Glaspipur, Baroda and Khergam.
To do prayers in systematic order for various subjects and prayer requests, we issue prayer bulletin every month. Every groups of Sion Prayer Fellowship offers prayer according to this prayer bulletin. Many families are also using this prayer bulletin.
To administrate this service with good effect and according to the will of God the following people are working at ;

3) Nimrod H. Tisbi-Methodist Church-Nadiad
4) Anil O. Parmar-The Salvation Army-Anand
5) Augstine I Christian-C.N.I-Borsad
Above all persons are in full time ministry of Sion Prayer Fellowship.
1) There are no any rank or portfolio and team leader in this ministry.
2) Jesus Christ is the only leader in our ministry.
3) It’s services is not based on any single person with this understanding and in co-operation with each other we are working on. |
